2014 C7 - Removal Roof front bracket adjustment

I need to adjust downward the left front roof bracket just behind my driver's side sun visor (2 10mm bolts), to solve a wind noise issue with my removal hardtop.

In order to do so, I need to remove the front headliner, at least the left side portion, in order to access the 2 bolts. It seems to be held on by clips, but when I tugged at it, it barely budged. I have the micro fiber suede option, but that shouldn't matter.

Does anyone have instructions and/or diagrams/photos of how to remove this item?

Thanks

In the past several years, there have been quite a few issues with roof latches, gaskets, etc. I have not heard of any on a C7 but possibly but why wouldn't you take it back to a dealer. An adjustment like this should still be a warranty issue.

Google C7 roof issues or something similar. There was an issue with early C7s that caused some room noise. Chevy issued a Tech Service Bulletin. It had something to do with adding nylon washers to the posts. You can generally find a TSB # and then look it up. Try some of the other web forums. It was a pretty simple fix. I know that dealers have to address recalls even if warranty is expired but not sure about TSBs. Good luck.
