Got yelled at for driving a Camaro in Snow...

I got my car couple months ago and have been driving it everyday since its my DD. My first purchase after I got the car was a set of Pirelli Scorpions and I have been driving on snow pretty much everyday since it has not stopped snowing..

I did not have any problems so far and it is fun to watch people looking at my car like they are looking at a spaceship when I am driving around 6-10 inches of snow.

Yesterday when I was leaving my gym's parking lot this random older guy in his Minivan rolled down his window as I was driving by and started yelling at me. At first I did not hear what he said but when I rolled down my window he kept saying random stuff about how I am being very irresponsible and called me a fool. I just smiled at him and kept driving.

You should've said how quickly does that junker get stuck. Haters will hate keep driving that car through it all.

You responded correctly, don't let others dictate what you drive.

It is bizarre though, how many people think that a RWD car cannot move in snow. I have people that I work with, who have asked me the question several times over the last three years- don't you get stuck in that car? I can only assume they think I'm lying when I tell them "no".

People today are just stupid behind the wheel and can't drive. cars can do amazing things if you're not an idiot.

I don't think of you diving in the snow as fools, but I shake my head and say "it has to be their daily driver car."

error #2. I would stake claims in the garage, versus the street parking....lol

I live in buffalo ny. my Camaro goes in the garage in late November and doesn't hit the roads until about late march. in fact, I upgraded to a 2ss red hot Camaro during the 20% off sale and drove it home and it hasn't been in the street since. and, oh yeah, I drive a minivan in the winter!!!

What would he have thought if he saw me driving this from '89 to '97 in the snow? Only problem I had doing that was when I washed it, the soap would freeze. I still own this car.
