Just imagine if the car weighed the same as a 4th gen. I had a 02 with a 6.6 liter stroked LS2, full bolt on, heads and cam. It made a little less than 500 to the wheels through a crappy built auto with a pretty loose converter and I ran about a couple 10ths faster, average was 10.7@ 128mph. I love the ZL1 and hope to own one someday but I really wish it was lighter.

ADM/squash fuel system, Ron Davis radiator, Spal fans, AGP air to air, turbo plumbing. LPE oil cooler, rear bushing upgrade, roll bar...etc. rwhp 1400+... 212.5mph, best Texas mile to date.  |
