The winter when it's twenty out on F1s is more fun. Feels like your driving on still wheels.

Sheryl Crow gets it right every time:

"It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got" - Soak up the Sun

If your Camaro's a daily driver, then go drive a shitbox for a while, like was mentioned. i.e., if you have another non-performance vehicle. I normally drive my stock as a rock truck to work as my DD. But it's a whole 'nuther world sliding behind the wheel of the ZL1 in comparison. It gets you back. It really does. HP is like crack though. No matter how much you have, you want MOAR.

You read my mind. I drive a 2001 Olds alero with the bumper hanging off and a broken motor mount during the week. I dont wash it and dont take care of it. So when I get in my spotless, modded camaro its ALWAYS a blast and feels fast. I still want it to be faster but I do still get that adrenaline rush. I'll bet you drive it too much and thats why you're used to it. Dont drive it for a couple of weeks and then see if you get your grin back.

You don't have enough HP. Keep modding. There are many on here who have more HP then I do, but 650 HP does it for me. And I'm just a pulley size change away from easily obtaining more; just don't want to mess with it at the moment.

When I first got my car (June '09), I took it to the track; all stock with exception of Borla Catback exhaust system mod. Those runs down the track are extremely thrilling. And that was with a basically stock set up. I'd get kicked off the track now if I tried that without roll bars.

Mod it....after all it's just money and ya can't take it with you when you die. Honestly though I have had my car 2 months. I still smile every time I turn her on.

You ask why?

Because some is good, more is better, and too much is not enough.

That is why.

Or you can do what I did when I started feeling that way, get a supercharger and fall in love all over again!

Since I went the 1le route I made up my mind to stay na just because the car was designed for handling and adding 100 plus pounds up front kinda defeats the purpose of a car weighted and designed for handling so at first I went the bolt on and cam route and car felt great but I was barely beating full bolt on mustangs and I got used to the power quick. Then I went full bolt on added heads and a really really good tune and I'm really happy. Heads made this car a monster. I know I only made 30 more rwhp but I'm telling you the difference is insane. I made 532 rwhp on a dynojet and car weighs under 4000 pounds with me in it.now Blowing away full bolt on mustangs. I just added 315 on rear and my most recent race was with a hellcat at the track. I won off the line to 140mph(top of 4th) and rolling races we were even. Do heads trust me! Save up and go aftermarket heads.or if you got the money of course go supercharger or turbos if that's your thing. Just for reference I made 132 rwhp with all my mods. Same as supercharged guys(without a cam) but there adding weight to an already heavy car

I personally recommend the Kawasaki ZX-14R or Suzuki Hayabusa

If you get bored with the power of a superbike, there's something wrong with you!

I drive this for a living and have power and torque at my disposal. Albeit, in a very slow manner, but everytime I get off of it, I RUN to my car with open arms. Being in my truck prevents me from driving like I like to and does nothing but bottle up my cravings to do so until I get back into Bee. Like the others have said, buy a crap car, drive it for a while and TRUST US, you'll get the feeling back.
