how will 1" lowering springs affect my 1/4 runs?
Just looking for some feedback / information in terms of suspension. I'm not really familiar with how it will affect it or what i should look for in suspension.
likely continue to do drag racing.

I installed Eibach Pro springs in my ZL1 and it made no difference in 60' times. I too thought it may negatively affect my dragstrip launch and weight transfer. Fortunately, this was not the case.

Guarantee they will affect your launch. The stock springs have always yielded better squat and 60' times than lowering springs. I lost .1 to .15

so lowering springs will negatively impact most 60' times & launches? Is it just recommended to keep the stock springs, or is there a better alternative?

1in drop requires camber bolts so you have the most rubber on the ground during a launch.

I've been running Eibach's pro kit for years and managed to cut a 1.60 60' on stock tires and NT05's. I can see it hurting with weight transfer due to the stiffness of the springs though. I never ran the car on stock suspension.
I will be upgrading to coilovers here in the next month or so to try to get more out of my car.

Never ran mine on the stock springs. Made over 170 passes with my lowering springs. Never once gave it a thought, as drag racing was not on my priority list of concerns for lowering my ride. Looks and handling were the factors for me.

1.56 and still leaving soft. I also play with spring rubbers to stiffen the rear even more. I'll put them in later today and take a picture for you guys. But the IRS definitely does not like squat. Squat means loosing time going forward...... To an extent..
