How many daily SS daily drivers out there?

What is your plan once gas hits $4.00/gal and possibly higher?
I'm seriously looking at buying a used Smart Car for work!
What say you?

My Camaro SS is my primary daily driver, but I am less than 2 miles from the office. It takes me longer to get to my desk from the parking lot than to drive over. I do have a S-10 pickup that I drive when there is snow on the street.

I will be using my SS to daily drive once I get it. Once the weather gets a bit warmer, I plan to alternate driving the SS and my motorcycle which gets about 45 MPG

Smart Car? The name is misleading, they should've called it "suicide pill".

I DD my SS, and plan to continue doing so- it's one SS or the other, so...

I paid 4.00 last night for gas. I use it as a daily driver, but i live super close to the office. For the night driving, we'll be taking my girls car for a while

SS is good weather DD. Usually only when i work about 20 miles from work. If i head to Va. i usually take the truck which is alittle bit better than my SS with an auto.

Personally nothing different for me, I can choose between three different cars that get about the same mileage depending on how I drive them.

There is one of those Smart Cars in Pinellas Park used by the P.D.. It cracks me up whenever I see it all painted up like a cruiser with all the lights and sirens ... Good thing it has a radio to call for help ... LOL ...

thats what i have been thinking. theres no way it can just get out of control before world leaders do sometimes to stop chaos from happening. there is a lot of gas in the earth ready to go.

Cost of living will always be a factor. Gas is one of those things we cannot really control. I will continue to drive my SS like normal and be thankful I have one in the first place. I am in sales...which means I just need to hustle a little bit more to make up the difference.

The difference in ones gas can be supplemented by cutting back on coffee or cigs...

Like anything in life, pros and cons can be weighed, the SS is a pro.
