breaking up over 5500 and stabilitrack light

Took the car to the track today and it broke up bad over 5500 and ended up tripping stabilitrack light and losing all kinds of power. CEl flashed but shut off first run. Stayed on the second. Seems to run fine normal driving. It has racestar skinnies on the front (about 27 1/2" tire height) C5 vette wheels with 26" tall dr's on back. Didn't have the skinnies last year , ran stock height 20's then on the front. Stabilitrac light always tripped after about 1/2 mile of driving last year, but never affected performance. Now with the skinnies on it doesn't trip stabilitrac light driving. Also found a msd plug wire pretty scorched on the header today. Moved it to a different plug that isn't close to the header because i thought it might be arcing to the header tube. didn't change anything. Whats your thoughts ? Tire diameters making it acting stupid this year? burnt wire not holding enough spark in the high revs and tripping stabilitrac light? That's my thoughts.

Do you have a code reader to see if you've thrown any misfire codes?

No code scanner. Stopped at autozone on the way back from the track, but they can only do 2008 and older. I'm sure it's a misfire code it's breaking up hellish. I will have to get it scanned this week though

Misfires and lean conditions (that cause misfires) will trip the stabilitrack light. See what Codes you have and if there are lean codes on one bank or both.

Found my problem. Pulled valve covers and found a broken prc 675 valve spring. They have less than 1500 miles on them. Nice
