MPG; US Gallon

Apologies if this is a completely stupid question, but the built in computer MPG estimate, is that in miles per US gallon?

15 US = 18 UK
20 US = 24 UK
30 US = 36 UK

Hope this helps

Out of interest. What are UK users getting from their V6s round town and motorway?

I expected as much, thanks!

Getting around 22 around town and up to maybe 26-28 on a good long run. Saying that, I do find it hard to resist putting my foot down just a little now and again

Like the round town figure... was hoping for something starting with a 3 on the motorway. Anyone?

Cheers

Next time I do a long run I'll reset and check it out, I've only had the car a couple of weeks so I've got no accurate figures.

I imagine redleader will have the figures down to 2 decimal places though

MPG; US Gallon

I'm using the iPhone ROADTRIP App and have done since I got my Camaro in March 2012.
It is set to UK Gallons & Miles. It is spot-on correct.

But as you say, UK to USA Gallons to be considered.

I considered converting to LPG once, then I looked in my girlfriend's handbag and found my testicles. After reattaching them, I quickly changed my mind 😉

Just messing, I didn't buy the car for fuel economy, nor do I drive it so. It's there to enjoy. My car is remapped for high octane unleaded too, so it wouldn't be worth doing now anyway.

The way I see it, with all these toy cars and Prius' about there's gonna be a fuel surplus without us Camaro boys (& girls).

Reset my ECU this evening to see if I get any benefit from using 99 fuel. If anything though I'm noticing much smoother gear changes on the auto box now.
