Why would they? And don't worry they won't unless you pay 'em.

Idk read it on the net, if I ever blow my motor or tranny or something can't they just look at how I've driven my car and what not?

Two sided sword here....

1. If you blow it up and don't want traceability....leads me to believe your'e going to lie your ass off to get warranty work done....

2. If you do blow it up...and its not your fault...they can confirm....

Also...big brother really doesn't care that much about you....

I know in my '07 GMC there was a box mounted behind the glove compartment that you could disconnect but I'm not sure about the Camaro though.

I think they've added some 800 numbers you can call and make sure "everything is off"....You may want to use it again someday...I'd think twice before damageing anything to make it never work again...Could hurt re-sale value...

What about if I go in for some kind of problem in the tranny and they look and see if I've been clutch dumping etc

Onstar does not track that info. I think you're paranoid.

I think you are giving ON-Star too much "credit"...They don't use On-Star to avoid doing warranty repair...Drive your car (safely) and relax...

Wear a tinfoil hat.

"I read it on the internet, so it has to be true."

Geez. Onstar doesn't care about you unless you're a paying customer. And, if you do blow your shit up, a good technician can detect whether or not abuse caused the issue. Besides, Onstar is tied into your Bluetooth and other components. Leave it alone.
