So...
Playing music on my phone works with phono to phono. Quality OK but not as good as thru the USB port and no information regarding the track appears on the screen. However, the USB starts to play (seemingly a random track) but stops after 30 seconds with the screen message "Indexing...". That has been on the screen for 20 minutes now. Clicking menu brings up 6 options, Shuffle with Shuffle not supported, Playlist, Artist, Albums, Songs and Genres, all of which say "Indexing is in progress". I guess GM like many others still believe Apple has the only operating system and that Android doesn't exist.

I just went out and I am getting the same thing but it plays one song now over and over. Come on gm this is bs

LOL! Blimey, paper maps take you back, don't they. The "brick" telephone was perfect though. You picked up the handset, pressed the relevant numbers, and hey presto, you were in conversation with someone. Nowdays, you have to squint at a tiny screen, move your fingers magically over it, and hope that something good happens. Mostly, for me, I just end up crying, and rocking gently, after trying to use a smart phone, but then I only make bread, and you don't need to be smart for that......so pass me the map please.

If you mean the square ones. They facilitate the remote operation of garage doors, gates, lights etc. In my manual the set up instructions were in section: 5-46 to 5-47. I had no luck programming our remote garage doors into the car. Perhaps, because we use different wavelengths or something, or maybe because, I'm a technical duffer.
