Personally I don't trust any of these digital auto calculators. The only true way to know what you're getting is to measure at the pump. Fill her up until the pump clicks, don't overfill, reset the trip ODO to zero. Go on your merry way. When it's time to fill up again, fill her till the pump clicks once, again (preferably the same pump as before). Then divide your mileage by the actual amount of fuel you just put in, there's your true MPG.

I get 24 mpg at 80 mph and I consider that acceptable.

It's all about the type of driving your doing personally did you really buy the car to drive it like a prius or to have a good time?
