I am not at all a truck guy, so there’s that, but the only full size pickup I ever considered buying was an Avalanche. If I was to buy a truck today the only trucks I actually like are the Colorado / Canyon. Fenwick’s is probably dead on the color and spec I would go for.

I bought a new '04 Avalanche that was totaled by a texting teenager...lol.. I loved that Avalanche and still miss it. Went truckless for a few years until I got dear old dad's GMC once he couldn't drive any more. He used the hell out of it, deer hunting in northern Arizona where he lived, then drove the wheels off going back and forth from Az to Colorado. Then my kid drove that truck all through college, summer road trips and all, it survived and I got it back again...It's my second GMC. First was an'88 GMC 1 Ton dually...

It's a 2000 Z71, last of the three-doors. 170K plus miles, normal maintenance, no major mechanical issues, just about every sheet metal part repaired to some degree or another...lol...Running stock wheels and Bald-Eagle tires...lol...Amazingly survived two theft attempts from in front of the house...lol....I'll never get rid of it now at this point. I'd drive it anywhere as is...Last truck I'll ever own.

Fen, Congrats on your GMC. I hope you get many good years out of it.
