I didn't read threw your whole post but I gotta say that your post is AWESOMELY done!!!
I'm quite mechanically inclined and have built many engines but I will still go over your post before doing my cam swap as your post will definitely point out allot of things and save me time.GREAT JOB and thanks allot for taking the time to do this

Absolutely fantastic. I have 2 easy questions. The 3 bolt cam gear, did you use a GM gear or aftermarket and did you remove the oil pump to install a different one or the oil pump removal is necessary for a cam swap.
