Scorcher today. Here in TX we topped out at 100 with an index of 118 due to the high humidity....

This has us thinking of cooler days in the mountains! Nice customer shot helps bring us back

As a reminder in the extreme summer heat we use cool water in the spray bottles and almost no heat is needed for application. When it is really hot you need to be sure to keep the adhesive wet during a wet application. When the water evaporated too quickly (or sheets off if just squirted) the likelihood of leaving a bubble as you squeegee goes up. A trigger type spray bottle (plant mister type) is recommended. All in all the materials are easier to install in the dead of summer than they are in the dead of winter.

Any questions about the application process? Let us know before you start your install. As always, have a great weekend and stay cool! (And dry if the in the SE)

After yesterdays scorcher it was nice to wake to cooler temps, thunderstorms and over 2 " of rain!

Not letting the rain spoil the parade here is a cool blue Ford Focus RS with its fogs are now protected from the inevitable stone impact and having a nice subtle matching blue (shines white at night) look. Like the blue on blue look or prefer something else? Either way we have you covered!

Sunday Crosstraining or Crosstreking you decide. This Subaru Crosstrek is sitting pretty in the afternoon sun with its fogs both protected and with a pop of yellow.

Are your lights protected?

Great video of the record setting run up Mt Washington in NH. Many years ago I saw it in person from the mid way point (about 3:24 in the vid) it was a great experience. The cars are faster now! One heck of a ride!

Anybody ever been to the Mt Washington Hill Climb?

Our latest DIY Video tutorial is up! – HID Blue Headlight Protection Kit DIY Install – 2014-2017 MINI Cooper / Cooper S

Big bulbous oval headlight is applied a bit differently than you typical composite headlight and does take some additional effort over some other applications, but does look good done!

Though all of our lighting kits are designed to be installed by the end consumer we can apply them for you if you are in the Plano Texas area. Install price varies with application. Contact us directly for more info.

Let us know if you have any questions on the application shown.
