Got it.

That basically IS the Prototype's steering wheel...try to compare the two in your mind's eye. That center portion is about the same size on both! The only difference is that the Camaro's center-low spoke goes "beneath" the center of the wheel...making it look rather large. The concept's wheel was WAY too small in the center. Way to small. I even think it was pointed out by someone; Lutz, Scott, Peper (I can't remember) That that was going to change. |

It is the Sportwagon. They were considering making a G8 sportwagon, but (wisely, IMHO) dropped the idea.

The Gauges on the Pre-Production interior are great, except the only thing that I would change,is to put the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges on the top, instead of on the bottom,so they can be more easily read when I'm driving down the highway.Other than that, the pre-production interior is right on.

Given the current market conditions I think a wagon body style would appeal more to people concerned with sensible economy and utility rather than performance and style. So I think a FWD mid/full size family car would be a better base to build a wagon off of. Sure they'd sell some G8 Sportwagons, but I think they'd sell many more Malibu or Aura wagons.
