Heh, that mustve been kinda funny to see. You said turntable, Ive never been to one of these autoshows so I gotta ask, while you were teetering on ur tiptoes streched out trying to keep ur balance and take this picture, was the car rotating too? If so I demand video of you doing this, it would have to be hilarious.

If you look at the backspacing on the wheels on the convertable it is clearly less than the backspacing on the coupe's wheels. This would be consistent with the speculation that the width was reduced.

I was doing the best I could...I'm sure the auto show has some video of me doing it and I'm sure there was some guy sitting in a booth going, " what the hell is he doing!?!?! Get away from the car "

I doubt that any vehicle manufacturer would decide to give any vehicle's Convertible compliment an extra tail light just because its the 'vert. That being said I think that this is a closer representation of the Production Camaro.
I also realized while watching a video of the 'vert driving around that this couldn't be a slimmer Camaro without shrinking the rear axle some, because the tires and wheel wells look the same on the 'vert (in the video) as they do on the Coupe.
So I'd have to agree with TAG and anyone else who said it, this must be the new location of the gas cap

Welcome Dragoneye!

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."
