New to the Camaro5
Hello everybody I am new to the camaro5 community but I am not new to these types of forums as I come from gixxer.com, gsxr.com. So, I know the rules and etc...
A little about me and my car, I am 25 and I graduate college in about a week from Texas A&M University- San Antonio and I decided to buy myself an early graduation present for all the hard work I had put into finishing college. Roughly a month ago I bought a 2014 Camaro SS, manual transmission the LS3!!! I was sooo excited! I got the car new/used from a dealership where an older gentlemen traded it in for a Subaru  because he could not get in and out comfortably. The car had 5K miles on her and he had owned it for 5 months. It looks absolutely amazing like showroom condition with a few exceptions with all warranties intact... He upgraded the exhaust to a stainless works/borla/ or SLP cat-back, and I say this because I am unsure what brand it is as it is not stamped on the tips or anything, hell the salesmen thought it was stock LMFAO! Also, a Cold Air Inductions CAI which to my knowledge is good. I just bought a JBA cat-less mid-pipe that I will install ASAP and post up on. I know I need a custom tune but it will void the warranty so I know the route I need to go is a handheld tuner... if yall have any input please do so!Anyways I hope to make a few friends and learn lots of info from you guys thanks! |

Looks awfully familiar.. I like your style!
 I wouldn't mess with a tune unless you're planning on putting long tube headers on the car or more engine mods. I'd also rather dyno tune by a real person than the hand helds. This is my opinion, and mine alone. Nice ride, enjoy it!

Nice car, you won't need a tune unless you add headers and even a hand held will void your warranty.
The CAI brand is very good too. |
