Finally!! Its mine! :D

After many years I finally got a brand new 2014 Camaro LS! Its my first new car and my first 6 cylinder car and RWD! !

As some might remember I wanted a V8 but at this time I wouldn't be able to handle the cash increase and didn't want to be car broke. Nonetheless, my fastest car prior to this one was a 115HP VW Golf 2.0, so the Camaro is definitely a different beast to me.

I'm really excited but also upset since because of the recall I can't get the car until who knows when

Other than the recall my buying experience was great. I got an OTD price of 21.5 which I think was great, specially since taxes in Washington are pretty high, IMO.

Here are some pics of how the car looks at the moment.

I am planning on doing some cosmetic mods for now and when the time comes some performance mods.

I do have some questions though.. I am wanting to put some different rims (I don't like the current ones) however, when I was looking for other rims I noticed that if you don't select the correct rims then the car might throw off some lights on the dashboard. So can anyone explain this? I want some 20 inch rims, if that matters.

Thanks! And its great to finally be an official part of this community.

P.S I made my username when I wanted a V8, now it doesn't make much sense :p

Congrats on your new car. Sounds like you did the sensible thing.

If you can spend the money, get some Forgestar F14s with a staggered look.

Great looking car. I recommend buying a rear spoiler already painted to color match your car. The body shop at the dealer should be willing to put it on if you pay them for one hour of labor. I did that to my previous 2LT that I owned and it looked like it came from the factory for under $400. We have lots of other great ideas on how to spend your money on mods so feel free to ask. And welcome to the clud.

until you can get new wheels, head on over to your local home depot and grab a few cans of black plastidip

Congrats!

And don't you dare plasti-dip those wheels black!

Like someone else said, keep the current wheel/tire setup for winter use.

Enjoy!

Very nice!

Appearance wise: first, I'd add a rear spoiler to balance the look of the car. Then, some window tint to add a sinister look. Perhaps some decals - simple hash marks, stripes, spears or hockey sticks. Lastly, some take off SS wheels/tires.

Congrats!
