Awesome quote about low miles & resale value
Low miles will help resale but not that much on a car like yours. These cars are meant to be driven. Enjoy the car! Someone told me "Not driving your special car is like not having sex with your super model girlfriend because you want to save her for her next boyfriend"

Not all of use are keeping it low miles because of resale value. I have multiple vehicles to spread out the miles plus work from home. Low miles always resale better.

When the weathers good I put about 150 miles a week. If it’s bad all week not 1 mile. Car never sees rain.

My cars all have low mileage. Everybody wants to buy my cars. They're the cleanest vehicles on the road, no BS, no damage, everything done right and high quality. When I want to sell my cars, I name the price. Everybody with 20,000+ mile with scratches, scrapes, cheap parts, track history, etc. will sit on Craigslist as every potential buyer walks away, turned off by a life of usage "that it was built for". Fact is, when you see somebody here asking to buy one, everybody says go find a nice clean, stock, low mileage car. Nobody says go find the high mileage, tracked, modified, driven-in-snow-and-rain car.
Rant over. I'm tired of the good guys being made to look like the bad guys in this situation. For every 1 person says they like to keep their cars clean and low milage, 1000 people say you're "saving it for the next guy" like as if people can't enjoy a mint, clean car while they own it. Almost like people are trying to justify their tendencies... Flame away. Everybody can drive their cars how they want. |

I'm a driver. Cars are depreciating assets no matter what way you look at it. Yes the clean ones bring a little more at the time of sale, but almost all of them loose 5k just driving it off the lot... So what! if I loose 2-3 more because I drove/tracked mine it's why I bought it. Not everyone who likes cars are "drivers" some get their joy out of going to car shows and showing it off on the weekends... We are two different people and it is always hard for one to understand the other.

I don’t care about resale value, if the price difference was that important to me then I probably was not in a financial position to buy it to begin with.
