Has anyone found any info on the net about how this system works?

Basically the system picks up irritating or unwanted frequencies emitted by the engine or road noise and sends out a sound wave that counteracts them. They cancel out and you hear only what you want to hear.

Good. That means the resonators can be cut out of the exhaust system, saving a few pounds for each one removed.

Correct - it is being used by a few other mfrs as well. For owners. the only problem seems to be if you add or change the sub, it needs to be disconnected as it messes with the new sub. The GM sub is tuned for it...Honda calls theirs the ANC system.

Lesse - eight pounds out of a 3444 pound car - that's a weight saving of ...(wait for it!)...0.2%!! Should easily knock a second off the 1/4 mile times.

Maybe not a second, but at least a tenth!
