PATC 4L80E Discussion/feedback
Getting ready to build the 6l80e again or go ahead and go 4l80e,was hoping someone on the board was running either of these units from PATC,and could possibly share your experience with me.thanks

My recommendation is upgrade to the 6L90. Bone stock 6L90's with a good tune are holding 1000+whp in numerous cars. It comes out much cheaper than a PATC built 6L80 and you keep all your factory paddle shift etc. Then if you surpass it's capacity, when you build a 6L90 it's stronger than a built 6L80.

Go with the 4L80 and be done with it. I track a lot and beat on mine hard lost count on the passes. And its still working like it did at the start.

Thanks guys yea kinda leaning to the 4l80e,turbo makes so much torque burning the clutches up fairly quickly and with good tuning too,Anybody running a 4l80e from PATC?just wanting a tranny that'll live with 1000-1200 hp in it's face.totally open to any builders in the world,pulled the 6spd out for the 4th time,needless to say I'm sick of it:(
