On another note I haven't seen any footage from the Keys - Hope everyone there is OK!
No reported deaths so far! Of course, it may be a blank slate, but otherwise that's good news.

I, on the other hand, am under curfew for the first time since I was 17.

The keys have some pretty tough houses, especially the older ones built out of Florida pine...it's like petrified wood...a bulldozer would just bounce off them. The problem is the surge so I hope the old salts took that into consideration...but I doubt it. Hope everyone made okay.

Glad Irma slowed down to a Cat2. Might not have helped Miami but will save Tampa a lot of grief. On the east side, we're experiencing power outrages; might just be fpl "saving" their infrastructure. Either way, it's interesting how we take things like power, water, etc for granted. OMG! People have to actually talk to each other. Finally meet my neighbor After a year lol. Not too minimize the impact but Godspeed everyone! Be safe!

Made it through the night with minor damage. Lost power around 5:00. Still experiencing extremely strong winds!

More than 80% of Jacksonville currently without power. Flooding - Mayor said that due to Nor'Easter we are experiencing a Cat 3 Surge under Tropical Storm conditions.

My daughter & her hubby & pets made it through without any significant damage just without power since 8:00 AM. They have a generator & plenty of provisions. Hope everyone else is okay too.

All good here. Hit at a cat high cat 2. Marco island and Naples really too the brunt of Irma and took a lot of Irma's strength away.
