I ordered in July of 09. I too did not see the color till it arived. I also have a 1973 RS camaro that was fully restored in a similar color. When the car was ordered the dealer was not sure if the color would even still be available then. I thought I got lucky. I have another question. How many 2SS/RS came in ABM. Then also how many were manual and how many came with the automatic. As you can see in the pic that I have attached the white stripes came factory applied. I was told this was only done on the ABM color because of its limited production. If any one has any more facts about this please let me know.

I just picked up my Aqua Blue SS/RS on Ground Hogs Day !
A Day that will live in infamy ! LOL !!
As far as Last ABM SS /RS..
My dealer told me that mine was one of the last !!
I'm curious as to the accuracy of his statement myself ...Posted a couple of threads with no info yet .
Also curious as to how many ABM ,SS/RS ,auto ,grey interior was produced ...any ideas ?

I am sure, you got your car in Feb. They stopped ordering them on Nov. 30th.

I also got an ABM 1SS off the lot. Get this, the last 4 digits of the vin are 1969. how awesome is that.

How many Camaros out there are going to be ABM and vin numbers that match the model year they were based upon?????

FYI I previously owned a 69 that was a color very close to AMB.

Very cool coincidence with the VIN!!!...Good color choice!!!...it was my 2nd choice after RJT...I picked the RJT because it was the closest color to my Firebird...

My ABM also has 1969 in the VIN, but not in the correct sequence:

Rumors have it that new Blue is in the works for the 2011 model year . . . any have more info on this? If not, I'm going to order an ABM as a special order . . . provided I can get the dealer to work with me on it! Must have an order of 6 identical in order to do this.

there are some ABM's on dealer lots here in New England if you really want to find one -- PM me if you want more specifics, or I would think that your dealer could search for them

you can not order abm at all. You have to find one on a lot or repaint your car.

LOL. When you could you last order ABM? Like November 10th or so right? They got produced late into January and there may be a straggler yet.
