Headers gotten quiet?

Kind of strange but I installed speed engineering 1 7/8" long tubes with cat delete and the first week they were amazing. Sound was extremely loud and had great crackle and backfires. But now they're quiet, almost more so than when stock and it's infuriating. Is it normal? How does this even happen and is there anyway to get the sound back? Thanks guys.

My headers themselves aren’t letting as much exhaust/valvetrain noise out but my exhaust is still loud as hell when I get on it

You’re probably just getting use to it

That and the tune you have most likely is trying to eliminate the DECEL POPPING and your lack of CATs does not help......Look to the rest of your exhaust..... headers did not MORPH like a power ranger....

Headers + cat delete = hearing loss

Honestly though, I think you are maybe just getting used to it.

I thought the same but everyone at the local meets and friends says the same thing, it's much quieter than before. It is untuned and cats are deleted. Before it sounded very aggressive and now it's tame, even at start up. I'm active duty and my ears are very sensitive so that's not it either.

I've noticed the idle doesn't stay as high for as long when cold either lately.

Only codes thrown are for the rear 02's which aren't attached. And it is untuned
