To all who check these out I took a ton of pictures but sent Kevin what I thought were things not as commonly seen especially with the cutaway car. The rear window picture has tiny little cross-flags (you have to look close). All of these colors are much better in person. The yellow and black in person is amazing and has moved to number one on the list. The carbon weave roof is totally awesome! It's a shame they put chrome wheels on the torch red. Nothing against the chrome but when the sun hit the torch red it lit up big time. The Black wheels would have put it right up there with the yellow and black combo in my opinion.
Thanks again Kevin for your time and effort! EC1990.....it's incredible in person. That yellow explodes with the black and carbon flash. Looks downright mean and aggressive! |

Also for those who have never been to Carlisle I would highly suggest it. Not only do they have the latest cars every there year but you have access to a lot of the GM engineers and marketing people. There are a lot of little things that they tell you about (like the rear window) that most people wouldn't ever pick up on. They are super nice and patient and will answer all of your questions. Except about future models....lol. People kept asking but they were consistently shut down.
Seriously though....all who have the ability to go in the future should not miss out. It's truly a great time. Not only for the new stuff but for everything else. So many cars that you rarely see and probably never new existed. Also, one more thing that I thought was cool was the new alarm system on the car...especially the convertible. You can leave the top down and the car is set up to pick up any motion if someone tries to "break the plane" and reaches inside the car. Not sure how it works yet but it sounded really cool. The more you talk to the engineers the more you realize how much thought was put into each aspect of the car. Amazing! If I find anymore "original" pics and fenwick would oblige we can post them here. Thanks!! |

I may have to go yellow if I end up ordering one. The silver with red interior looked good too but this car begs for a bright color.

Don't live that far away; really should have gone up this year. But am definitely going next year. Thanks for posting all the pics. One color I've seen in a rendering that I really wish they'd bring back is Atomic Orange. The silver with red interior and black stripes looked actually really good!
