DRL Harness
I'm looking for a DRL harness to keep my DRLs on at night. I have a 2011 2SS/RS
Can someone tell me the difference between the $11 Amazon, $15 Phastek and $62 Gen5diy harness? It looks like they all do the same thing and are all plug n play |

I was wondering the same thing but I went ahead and ordered one from Amazon. I get it tomorrow and I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks! If you say it works I will pull the trigger on one as well. I don't get the huge price differences, or maybe i do.

Why do you want the DRLs on at night? Personal preference? I replaced my DRL bulbs with LEDs. I'd be afraid they would be too bright.

I got my harness from Phastek and the P13W Plasma LED bulbs too and what a difference it made!! They are about the same color as the stock HID headlights..

Question about this harness. Do the DRLs work as normal during the day, or do you have to turn the headlights on? Also, will they stay on with just the halos turned on?

Yes and yes, unless you turn them off by the switch, then they will not come on at all until the next time you start the car..

Depending on where they come from, make sure they have wire seals. You should see white and blue silicone rings around the wires where the go into the rear of the connectors. If not, they will eventually corrode and fail.
