another VS Shelby GT350 thread
Sometimes I come back to the shelby and have a crush on it, wonder if any of you have driven it? I know the C7 wins the low end torque stop light race but wonder what the driving experience with it is? would anyone take a shelby over your c7 ? just curious

The dealer mark-up on Shelbys is ridiculous, and the dealer mark-down on the C7 is also ridiculous! I don't know why anyone would buy a Shelby over a C7, based on value or bang/buck.
I'm a hardcore Ford fan (have a Mustang GT as my daily driver) but the Corvette is in an entirely different league. |

The Stingray Z51 is a much better car for the $, just start with the design, there is a huge difference, I wouldn't trade a C7 for the Shelby GT350 but you should get the manual transmission if you are planning to track it. I already test drove the Shelby and decided to go for the Stingray. Very few people would be able to distinguish the GT350 from a regular mustang by its looks, but the Stingray it's always an attention getter, it looks like an exotic costing much more and the low seat jet cockpit cabin is really amazing, no contest here either.
