full solo kit

Hey guys, so thanks to uncle sam, in a few weeks I'll be pulling the trigger on a full solo exhaust kit (HFC and mach x lfx cat back.) Along with an ipf tune. I know what to expect numbers wise from ipf, however in all my stalking of this page I wasn't able to find any real numbers on the exhaust portion. My question is do any of you guys know roughly what kind of gains I can be expecting from this kit. Thanks.

Full bolt ons only nets around 25 rwhp? Oh man... I love my car but that's making me consider using my tax return on down payment for a v8 :(

I have some soul searching to do I suppose. My original goal was to build a 6 (n/a) that could keep up with or beat a stock 8. Not sure how reachable my goal is now

Eh I talked to a v8 owner and their net gains are about the same w bolt ons, I was expecting more. Not enough to make me be ok with higher insurance and car note... time to start saving for snails I suppose lol

I put hi flow solo's on mine and the nuts off the manifold can be a pain, had a garage do it and glad I did!

EIC Earned Income Credit, Head of Household are two benefits that cause many people to receive more money in their tax return than was ever taken out through out the year. "It's your money, you let the government use it for a year." Could not be further from reality.

So "Thanks to the other taxpayers that aren't getting as much of a refund for paying their share of taxes so that I could get a bigger refund" ...basically?

My insurance quote for an SS was exactly the same as my v6. If you've just began the process and have the ability to get a v8 I'd go for it.
Alternatively-
I have every bolt on and am automatic, at ~280 hp 259 tq. If I had just skipped all the bolt ons and just saved for turbos, I'd almost have spent the same amount and be in the mid 400s with the fabberge setup. I'll probably get some NOS and call it a day, just bought a house and don't have the disposable income for fun stuff now

Say it with me, "I'm not knocking anyone, that's the way it's set up!"

Haha I know man, just throwing my .02 out there I paid nearly $24,000 in taxes for 2015, and will likely not get a refund at all. In fact, I may end up owing money come tax time. No EIC for me!
