I had a few 2nd Gen Firebirds. Loved that model. Both 350s and 400s.

This is my first Camaro. Previous car was a 05 GTO. Before that a Mitsubishi eclipse, a couple RX-7's and a cavalier Z24. It definitely won't be my last Camaro, at least I hope not.

First car was a 72GTO, 400' four speed, 4.11 rear end. A set of 10.25 compression heads off my dads 69 Catalina jumped the compression back up from the federally mandated 8.75 max. That car passed everything but a gas station! First Camaro, had a couple of Montes, a79 and a 78. The 78 had a drop in 350 from a 70 Camaro though. 71 Malibu. All the rest were truly forgettable.

My 2012 45th vert is only my second Camaro. My first was a 1980 Camaro that was a real lemon, so it was sold in 1982. I still love the look of the later 2nd Gen Camaro and would love to someday get a restored 2nd Gen Z28. Maybe once I retire...

I almost bought the 35th back a few months ago for a second car. But put the blower on the 1LE Andrews. Now the 1LE is having a Lsx installed today actually

I'm a convert.

It was somehow embedded in my young impressionable mind that American cars were less reliable. As a result, I've had a string of riceburners (Nissan/Toyota/Lexus/Acura).

My son needed a car, so I gave him my 1998 Acura and bought a used 2007 Monte Carlo at a steal so as to not incur a car payment. The transition to the dark side began.....

December 2013, enter the Camaro. TRANSITION COMPLETE. When I upgrade, it will be a Camaro. I love this car so much, it prompted me to purchase a beater to increase the likelihood of keeping it as pretty as possible. No regrets, and GM has won me over.

My last trade is pictured. Other vehicles since 60's too boring to mention but F-body was constant "since 1978." See signature.
