No doubt 2010-2013 were the best model of camaro's. I just bought a used 2012 because I couldn't stand the new 14-15 tail lights, now the 16+ is even uglier.. I'm just happy I bought the camaro when it still looked like a muscle car! (not trying to offend anyone with a 14-15 just my opinion) With a 2010-2013 camaro you can do some much with the tail lights as well, I have the afterburner tail lights and it looks 10x more aggresive then those acura tail lights. Red looks good too. The interior though...hmmmm. Doesn't seem too spacious for bigger folks.

6th gen reveal thread
http://www.chevrolet.com/2016-camaro/
surprised there isnt a thread for this yet, did i miss it? Anyway, love the front end, nothing innovative but im glad it didnt morph into something rediculous. The rear isnt agreeing with me, that bumper looks like it comes out too much, making it look like an econobox rearend. Side windows look a smidge taller hopefully better visibility. interior looks fantastic so far except for one thing i think i really hate...the hvac controls look like they are in an aweful location under that lip and right behind the shifter. Wow I hate the rear! It looks like a Malibu, but the front looks good besides the weird location off the ss or RS badge on the bottom. And oh man the interior is sick! Are there any under the hood pics?

The 2016 to me is a huge disappointment, huge. There is nothing that stands out about this car, did GM fire everyone with any imagination and design talent?

Those vents blowing on your shifting hand may get old fast they look too close to not hit your hand or arm constantly
Edit-now im looking at that marker lens in the lip of the rear wheel and its aggravating me. I dunno. need more pics! |

A moment of silence....
Since the unveiling of the 6th gen has came and gone it has marked the end of an era in automotive awesomeness. So at this time I would like to take a moment of silence to honor the last 15 years of factory LS cars you will be remembered.
On a side note stoked about the LT platform.

I'm starting to see a trend here, I don't think a lot of 5th gen owners will be running to the dealer right away to get one !

I'll be kind and just say this... The more pictures of the 6th Gen that come out the more glad I am that I went with a 5th Gen a couple months ago.
Yes the interior is nicer, but I don't know... Seems like maybe a little to much for something I would use as a daily driver. Not enough of an improvement for me to consider an eventual upgrade.

I really like the interior. Front reminds me of the stingray. Side angle looks nice and curvy. Hate the back. Overall, I am not jealous if one pulls up next to me. I love the split tail lights and old school feel of the front on my camaro more.
It is a nice ride though and glad to see it still looks better than the rustang. |

I think a lot of the younger crowd and V6 owners will. As for the higher trims I think they will stick with their cars, at least for awhile. You can tell that GM is trying to break into the younger crowd more since it had some noticeable success in that market with the 5th gen.
