Count me in with the same mark. It doesn't look too bad, but I looked at it in the garage and not the daylight. I will just live with it and add it to the list of things that gm is doing to annoy customers. My car has 985 miles on it. This looks like it is across the board with these cars, so what does that say for quality control?

The "QC" people are busy taking keys out of the switchblade. You aren't going to wipe it off and it appears this is a rather large problem though not as dangerous as our fobs.....I will just leave my stain or whatever it is alone and pretend I never saw it just like the scratches in the clear coat that were probably inflicted by dealer monkeys.

1 month old 385 miles and yes , I just noticed the same thing on my 2014 .
Hope it does not get worse over time . Sunlight may make it more noticable as it ages .

Wish I wouldn't have seen this thread as I just checked and have it also. Doesn't bother me enough though to have the dealership working on it........

Maybe some coupons for free oil check or something. I wouldn't be to upset about this if the part was on back order and I didn't have to wait to get my car because of the recall.

The same kind of thing happened with the bumpers on the early model PT Cruisers. Areas that looked like tape - turns out that during the baking process, the tape was pulling resins out of the bumpers, causing the discoloration.

Don't know what these spots could be from though

The upside is you can drive the car and it doesn't hurt a thing.

Greasy guy?

You have been watching too much TV. Or Youtube or Facebook or Twitter or whatever. Do you really believe all that crap?
You're kidding, right? Do you really think a majority of the GM techs out there are going to ensure they are clean, gently enter your backseat, remove and reinstall a replacement in the tight quarters of the rear window, and not scratch up something? Think they are going to armorall everything when they are done, vacuum it out, and ensure it is in the same shape as when you got it?

It is possible, but unlikely. Frankly, I don't hold it against them -- you cannot expect others to care about your car as much as you do. Playing the percentages, you would likely have to go through the trouble of making and keeping an appointment only to trade one mark for another (or multiple others).

Give me a break with your condescending remarks as if I'm the one that doesn't have a hold on reality.
