i think the redesigned Mustang looks better than the outgoing model and the redesigned Camaro looks worse than the outgoing mainly because it looks smaller.
Now size wise, the Camaro doesn't look much different than the imports from Asia and Europe :-(

I think the interior is exactly that evolutionary and it did evolve alot from the 5th Gen. Mustangs weight increase was due to IRS not anything else so that excuse about weight we always had is a moot point for these new cars. The tail lights still kinda disgust me if they were looking to be evolutionary and fix things from mass feedback like they did with the steering wheels, weight and CUP HOLDER location they missed the backlash on the 2014 tail light refit completely. That being said i'll keep my 5th Gen the new interior is nice not sure how i like the styling the dash around a nav console though made it look a little to euroish honestly.

The point being is Ford is offering 6 as the base, then the 4 as their middle followed by the 8. Chevrolet is going in the traditional numeric order 4 cyl being the base, then the 6 & 8. So your initial comparison stating lackluster hp are not direct comparisons in terms of how the cars are being offered for sale.

& the 7th Question down the list in post 1 explains that very thing.

The 4 and 6 cylinder versions certainly aren't. I have to respectfully disagree on the SS and above though.

Muscle Car is classified by high performance cars, which is varied by an opinion, so all are classified as muscle cars if the consumer thinks it's fast and preforms as such,
do your homework.

Although I'd select the Camaro over the Mustang I think the 5th Gen Camaro's are far better looking than the 6th. Do not like the oversized lower grill not sure why all auto manufactures are using this ugly design. Also do not care for the ducts in front of the shifter.

The 2016 camaro interior looks cool af. I like those new vents. I'm not clear how they work though.. So if you want to go from hot to cold or vice versa, you have to turn the ring on all the vents?

If I am going to buy a 4 cyl I'm sure as hell not looking for horsepower , I didn't by my daily driver Chevy Cruze for horse power.

GM made the right move by making the 2.0T the low-option engine. Ford went off the deep end by making its 4-cylinder an extra-cost option. Lame. Those engines help make CAFE numbers for those of us who will end up buying the 6th gen in a V8

LOL, do the people buying a 4 cylinder version of either really care about the HP? If they did, they'd PONY up and get the real deal. It's like arguing between 7th and 8th place. HAHA

Camaro! I love how they brought back the Camaro on the steering wheel again instead of using the same steering wheel thats on their other vehicles. Interior looks sooo good! Not so much the exterior....

2016 >>I need to see it in real time "touch it". Feel the size get up close before I say anything Positive or Negative. Then I will wait a year and let them work out the BUGS. Take one for a drive. Listen to the first Owners WHINE or Praise. So by 2017 they Might or MIGHT NOT have me buying number 5.
