You don't block the ads. You embrace them. They get to know you. Your likes, your preferences, they understand you. The ads are your best friend. You and the ads will take internet journeys together toward self exploration, and the ads will use those journeys to finetune themselves deeper to your preferences. Before long, the ads will bond into you, Yoked together and bonded ... for eternity...

On my PCs and phone I run Firefox with uBlock Origin. As for the rest of my devices that can't install extensions on a browser (iPads, TVs, etc) I run Pi-hole as a DNS-level ad block.
This isn't a one click solution though. You need to install Pi-hole up on a Raspberry Pi (or a Linux server) and set it up as your home's DNS. There are plenty of guides on how to set it up over on their website if you are technically inclined or brave enough to do it. I've been running it for about 5 years now and consider it a core component of my home network. https://pi-hole.net/ |
