i am sure that anyone who has tried to drive a viper in a performance arena can attest, power is the least of tha cars problems. the viper is a beautiful example of modern styling and the V10 delivers tons to torque on demand. the problem is that the car does not launch well in a straight line and becomes very fidgetty at teh slightest attempt to approach the limits of it's performance.
i would recomend refining the chassis and the set up long before worrying about finding more power.

GM needs to get a grip if they do not want Toyota as the "Largest Car Company On The Planet" . Please GM do not let this happen.
AND BUILD THE VOLT NOW!

FYI Toyota had more recalls as a percentage of vehicles produced then GM did last year. And, a higher percentage of Toyota's recalls were over safety related issues then GM.

Dometics have traditionally had higher recall rates, simply for the fact that they had more cars on the road.

Now that the imports are catching up with domestics in terms of total registeded vehicles, their recall rates are catching up as well.

The myth of Japanese superiority is dying a slow painful death.

I'd take a Z06 over a Viper Anyday. The corvette is a Much nicer car. IMHO
