Now I am getting excited!!!
While I was still at 3000 as of Friday........Man anyone of us could move along any day! Not to dampen our enthusiasm but my dealer stated all built cars were going to be held til the end of September. Anyone else hear this or is it just more dealer nonsense?

Built units will be held for quality check and to build up an inventory to make shipping coherently feasible. I can see the fourth build and the fourteenth hundred build being delivered to a dealer on the same day.
Probably the biggest difference in the Stingray launch and the launch of other Chevrolets is the most recent lack of a tentative production date. Once regular production starts, it will be easy to predict when retail deliveries begins: within three weeks of the start as the staging area can hold only so many units. I have seen posts that said 1400 and I have seen posts that said up to 2000; I do not know what the yard can hold but I suspect somewhere between those two numbers. I have no doubt that those in the first pull and those in the second pull will both have their orders leaving Bowling Green timed to arrive at their destination dealerships within hours of each other. The car haulers will be lined up for loading, will be loaded and then will be leaving Kentucky in a 96 hours time period. I stand by my prediction retail deliveries will be before Labor Day; I so far have seen nothing to make that prediction wrong. Laborsmith |

Anyone in for a satellite photo run. Geo maps and others can be ordered to fly those coordinates for a small fee. Would be neat to see whats sitting out back

That is neat, I'd also like to know how much that would be.

I got this from my dealer: Your 2014 Corvette Stingray is at 3400, queued for production at Bowling Green and the GM order number is RDPTVH. "Real production is to start today, from what I have heard. At Monterey I learned that they will output a car every 3Min. When the line is rolling.

My order was accepted July 16, after being kicked back for the carbon fiber dash panel. I went ahead without that option, the 3Lt has that piece in interior color anyway. (I have not seen any pics of that yet.) the carbon fiber i saw at Monterey was a bit of a disappointment, it was dull and not at all like the top. I may purchase a spare instrument surround and have it dipped in Carbon fiber look like paint.
my order has been given a tentative TPW of Sept 23, I hope that moves forward due to the fact that the line comes to speed soon. By the way I was told that the system updates every night, but with nothing between the Q & built car I don't see the point of checking unless you go to chat to find out more. |

Why I'm stuck at 3000
If you’re stuck at 3000, like me, it just maybe due to C2Z @ 0% greater than 4 weeks supplier restriction, this was issued August 29th , C2Z is the visible carbon fiber top, in layman’s term Bowling Green have zero C2Z in stock and the supplier is at least 4 weeks out from shipping
