Same deal here except I just turned 29...anyone who doesn't know me thinks my ride belongs to the hubby. No way boys, she's mine and I work hard for it and love driving a stick!

People still say mustangs are better to me and that I should have bought that. However, if you would like to get technical, the CAMARO beat the MUSTANG on the track. It also beat it in appearance and interior.

I have never really gotten any bad comments about having an Auto V6. I did have couple people ask me if I had a V6 or V8, and I would just reply that "its a V6 and it has got 320+ hp". And they would simply say reply with "that is really awesome", I didn't mind that since they just wanted to find out what kind of engine did mine have and complimented it regardless. Almost everytime I am out there I have received nothing but compliments for my car or a good old "thumbs up".

Appearance and interior are subjectives. Beating on the track means nothing to most. Sales is where it beats it.

Only thing I got . My cousin and I went to a bbq place the first day I got my car, and when I parked the car towards the side of the lot, a firetruck was coming in and saw me take forever. I wanted to make sure I was in the lines since it was my first time parking the thing.

As I was ordering, a voice behind me asked. " now when you burn the tires off that camaro, how much is that gonna cost you" It was the firemen.

Then another dude, at my own church kept saying ..

"now this is a sweet ride, but one thing is missing, it didn't come in red"

Already had a red sports car, don't need another one. Although the RRM and RH do look mighty sick !

You need to get your stereotypes correct.

I had this jackass at the gym i go to pull into a parking spot near me and have the balls to ask me why i bought such an ugly car?
This dummy was driving a convertible Chrysler Sebring and says THAT to ME.
After seeing him hop his fat ass out of that car, i questioned his sexuality.

Living here in So Cal I had a lot of people compliment me on Camaro. Especially when I pull up next to them with my exhaust sounding off! But I did have a co-worker say why I drive a V6 and I should drive a V8 instead! But keep in mind he drives a Nissan Pathfinder!

Hey Mat,

You bring it ~140 miles east on I-80 and we'll treat ya right out this way!

Looks Great, to us!

So here is my story. I was out in my driveway with my Camaro and was just getting the garage door working and playing around with mylink. This woman walked by.

Woman: "That is a nice mustang you have there."
Me: "uhh it isn't a mustang."
Woman: "What is it?"
Me: "Camaro"
Woman: "Who makes that?"
Me: "Chevy"
Woman: Flies off hook about how Chevy is killing people, and how it is a bad company and so on and so forth. [Notices Cavalier is Garage] "Oh so you are a Chevy Supporter that supports them killing people"
Me: "To each their own. I can buy what I want to buy and you can buy what you want to buy."
Woman: Gives me a dirty look and walks off ranting about evil Chevy.

Moral of the story: Smile and nod agree that its a mustang to psyco people as herself. Just want her to leave me alone so I can baby my new car.

Didn't know I was suppose to ask her permission before buying the car. Would be funny if she had a GM product in her garage and didn't know it!
