Slower by the day
I have had my 1le for a couple on months and put 1500 miles on her. I love the 5th gen 1le and on the rolling hills roads of Tennessee it is an absolute blast. That being said, it feels slower and slower every time I get on it on the straights. Surely I'm now used to what she has to offer. Lol time to start the mods. This car really needs another 150hp. Just my opinion. 90+ and humid don't help.

That is a story we hear a lot, does not matter if you have 400 or 800 hp you end up getting used to it and want more!
We have many great options to increase the performance on your 1LE, whether your wanting to do an NA setup, boost, or both |

I went to an exotic car show and got passed by supercars making me look like I was standing still. This made me want more hp when before I thought it made enough, I guess you always want more eventually haha

It's funny, I have friends with fast cars and even my brother has a Hellcat and 17 zl1 and yet.... I'm still partial to my 1le. I could give a crap if I can hang in a straight line. Just want to keep that feeling going. Lol It's not about street racing for me. It's all about how I feel blasting down a road. |

Never understood waiting till the warranty is over to start adding mods? Why wait till more miles and time are on it. If it is going to break there is more of chance it will break with more miles/time and it will be out of warranty anyways? I can see waiting till it is paid off then you would have the money to fix it if it breaks.
These 1le's hit jail or hospital territory so quick I would hate see what ZL1/1le, Zo6's, or some of the super/hyper cars can do. More power would just get me in more trouble. I'm sure it is a different story on the race track, can always use the more power there. I would like to put a cam in but as of right now the CAI, LT's and tune is good enough for the roads around Milwaukee. |

For me this car was all about handling and the only handling mod I have is a detroit speed 35mm rear sway bar and yeah its a beautiful thing. Probably B6 shock in the future as well. Power wise, for me, I feel like it does enough. However, I would love a better throttle response, so some day I will get a tune. Too much power will surely get me into trouble lol.

^going with a bigger 35mm rear sway bar makes a world of difference handling wise, I love my Pedders rear sway!

So crazy. I was like ok i might feel the difference but damn, yeah. It just wants to be pushed and the DS sway is 3 way adjustable and I have mine set to the middle for now. Thing is literally point and shoot.

GM had an answer to this , they called it the Z28, unfortunately it was much more expensive and with no incentives offered . Then there was the ZL1 for the street performance we all wanted , again much more expensive . Bottom line is power cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
