Heres my dilema, im 16 and getting my 2010 2lt camaro in about a month and two weeks. Shes getting a used bmw 335i, even though shes 15. Well the beamer is a v8 and both are making around about the same horses. Idk about torque though. So my question is will her 8 cyl be able to beat my v6? If not im gonna have to mod mine to beat hers. I know it shouldnt matter but my car HAS to be faster then my lil sisters.

The 335i is a 6 cylinder 100%

With that being said its still faster than the v6 because of a sizable weight difference and its twin turbos

Yeah BMW is faster

but I'll take the camaro anyday

awww well thats slightly depressing..... I need to get a lot more torque out of my v6 then I guess. Cant afford a supercharger/turbocharger and im pretty sure there is still no tune. So I guess a CAI, headers, and exaust? Would that help me beat it?

You are in trouble the 2007 335i is a twin turbo direct injected 6 that turns the 1/4 mile in 13.9 seconds at 105 mph.. and just some simple mods will make that car quickerNOt to much you can do to get that v6 Camaro that fast on your budget...I really hope you and your sister dont race on the street...why are you so concerned about beating her?

The BMW runs a 5 sec 60 and 13.5 1/4

but yet again new the BMW is like 40+

so you have no reason to feelbad if the BMW is faster

I didnt think it was going to be that bad... dang. Looks like Ill have to either go cheap with the nitrous or save up for a supercharger. It would take a while for that though. Im not going to race her on the street. I just dont want my little sister to even think she can beat me haha. Its a sibling rivalry thing i guess....

Be careful..because if you add it to your car you are going to use it...just be careful

Ill definetly be careful, I had a bad experience when I was driving my dads friend home in his vette the other day. He was drunk and pushed my leg down on the gas until we were at about 110 and then tried to make me hit the porsche we were following to get there
