Curb Rash
When I bought my (ever so slightly) used 2011 SS back in April it came with the factory 21" wheels, which I really like. Unfortunately they also came with some curb rash... So, anyone have a link on repairing road rash? I was thinking some careful use with a dremel tool might be the way to go but there may be a better way. I know I probably can't get rid of it entirely but would like to smooth it out and blend it in with the rest of the wheel so as not to be as noticeable.

Go with a pro...there are rim repair guys out there. Talk to the parts counter/service manager guys at local dealers.

Get some light sand paper and lightly sand the area....Get matching paint and spray over area..masking the finished area...should cost you under $30 for all 4...Just be prepared to spend some time.
Do a search under you tube...Unless you have 2 left thumb then you out if luck.. |
