1LE on a rock driveway?

I'm finally ready to purchase a new Camaro, but I have one serious concern... We finally moved on to our dream property, but couldn't afford to get the 1/2 mile driveway asphalted. I know the obvious answer is to asphalt the drive, but it'll run me $15k and push me out of a new car and tractor.

How bad do you think a 1LE will do on a rock driveway (well-maintained) if I take it slow and cautious?

The stock good year supercars will spit stones up no matter how slow you're going. Get rock guards and paint protection on at least the rockers and it should mitigate most of it.

Mine is way , way , way shorter but I too have to go slow - the rear meats seem to want to dig in every time.

Thanks all, I think I'm going to do the paint protection and just go for it.

And the blue looks sexy, even covered in suds

Itll do fine... slow and cautious is smart. My drive is a well maintained long gravel driveway that winds up hill to the house through a tree line and i have had no problems or damage so far (1 year).

Got a 300ft rock driveway myself. It's no big deal, sounds utterly horrible, but I got rock guards on mine. SO I can still sleep at night.

I live two miles off the main road in the woods.
It's all gravel from the main road to my house.
I've been here close to twenty years and have not received one rock chip to my quarters with any of my nice vehicles.
I stay under 10mph all the way to my house.
It takes my over ten minutes to get to my door & when I head out to the main road.
It's a good warm up for the motor and other fluids. 😀

That's a very long and boring 2 miles.

My rear quarters would look like the finish on a DeLoren.
