Thanks again for ya'lls responses, much appreciated. Our car lot has 1 survivor to sell, a frickin Mustang! It was at a mechanic shop! I'm using it to warm up some jambalaya that Aflac dropped off yesterday. Been about an hour, should be about warmed up. Also have some cookies and water. Taking one day at a time, that is all we can do!
I have some great friends who took us into their home and even converted a game room into an area for our 5 cats. They love our animals just like there own! Even gave us a vehicle to use! After I get the estimates on our cars, I'll go from there.

Update, we have been homeless for 4 months, finally able to move back in. Home is no where complete, our jobs are gone, and I still have no vehicle. This 1000 year flood event has been rough, a lot of businesses are still closed or destroyed. Still around 90 homes in the neighborhood, that aren't livable yet. 2016 is gone and looking forward to 2017.
I found the last picture of my car before our boat rides out of here. Good news is that I just started a new job and I have a company work truck to use. Plenty of scrape wood to burn, and I'm grilling for my neighbor. My heart and prayers goes out to anyone going thru a disaster. Take one day at a time and keep your faith. You will overcome....
