Thanks folks.
Karen and I are happy to spend a little effort to enjoy great company. It's always a blast when we get together with the C5 gang. For those of you that couldn't make it...well there's always next year. Even though Tim forgot me, I did run my car this year. Couldn't quite keep up with the big boys but for a first time racer and a basically stock motor, I'm pretty happy. When I can find third gear the car can do 209 km/h in the half mile with a 13.16 quarter. Got the bug now. I might have to find some go fast parts for next year. Hang on...what's that orange thing in my drive way. Hmmmm... I have to say that the organizers of this event know what they're doing. Last year was the inaugural event and it was great. This years event was bigger and better. The driver's get treated well with breakfast, lunch and some cool goodies including an app for their phones with updates in real time. The fans get to see all kinds of exotic cars running for a 5 buck admission. It's safe, fun and pretty much runs like a clock. I've been to events that have been running for many years and they don't go as smooth as this one and cost more. Hat's off to Peter O'Blenis and his huge group of volunteers.

THAT was a great last run Jeff!!! It was great seeing you again as it had been a while! I think it was at a GM Powertrain show before I retired and that was over 4 years ago!
