They’ll tell you that “the top dream car cited by respondents from all over the U.S. was the Ford Mustang... selected by women more than men by nearly a 2:1 margin.

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/...made-cars.html

Or perhaps they’ll boast that over 1/3 of Mustang sales are fleet meaning Rental car are what give them the sales lead

2015 Retail Sales
Mustang 90,539 (31,810 fleet)
Camaro 68,202 (9,300 fleet)

2016 Retail Sales
Mustang 72,034 (33,898 fleet)
Camaro 66,889 (5,816 fleet)

2017 Retail Sales YTD (June 2017)
Camaro: 33,739 (2,798 fleet)
Mustang: 30,343 (14,265 fleet)

Agreed. It will be a slaughter fest. And when the GT500 comes out, they can line it up against the Z06 and watch it get it's ass handed to it again. Cus we now know the ZR1 is well prepared to smoke the new Ford GT.

You can't find one car in Ford's sports car lineup with can even touch the bumper of any one of Chevy's.

So where are the "we lead in sales" Mustang trolls now?

The years have been close, but Mustang still have sold more. The Camaro has 2017, but still behind. We don’t want to get all puffed up and start acting up.

So you're telling me that for the entire S550 Mustang lineup they made not one vehicle that naturally matches and of the Camaros except for the GT and the SS? Or is the GT not the natural competitor to the SS either? Pretty soon the V6 Camaros are gonna be kicking the GT's ass and they'll still be using the same excuse. Matter of fact its getting to the point that it isn't even worth watching these comparisons and H2Hs. It might be time for the Camaro to start competing in a higher league.
Maybe GM will have to come up with a 2LE to kill them till they die from it.

Follow Ford's lead and put DOT R-comp tires on a 1LE?

Yes. Anytime a forum is led by thePill, you know what kind of forum it is. They take everything he says as gold, yet he has no clue what he's talking about, nor has he ever stepped foot on a track. Yet, they suck him off and swallow every damn drip he feeds them. And they all sit around a circle begging for more.

Even the SS 1LE will give a good show to a GT350R

Are you sure this is correct? The figures I saw were as follows:
Mustang - 81,866
Camaro - 67,940
Challenger - 64,535

Those were the US 2017 year sales total.

Nobody cares. They been doing that for years. They're not even worth our time. Maybe they should be more concerned with why the GT is such a POS instead of worrying about what we're saying over here.

Those are retail numbers that were quoted lower. Take those numbers and minus them from total number you got, and the rest is fleet numbers.
