I have no doubt that some dealers just toss them. But I'm pretty sure those dealers just wing it for the PDI and don't bother following the checklist.

I may have mine shipped from Miami - these are cheap insurance.

If the dealer pdi dumps them, I'll ask them to replace them or I'll just buy them if I have to.
