Interesting mule. ZL1 1LE with carbon ceramic rotors. Z/28, maybe?

Hmm, it works for me but I have the Facebook app on my phone. I added a link to a Camaro6 thread with the pictures.

Don't think so...just a gut feeling...maybe an old mule, or a rethink at offering CCM rotors on a ZL1.

That’s probably the most likely scenario, but there was a supposed Z/28 front fascia put up for sale a few months ago.

Yep. I also have a gut feeling that the same thing that happened with the 5th-gen ZL1 - Z/28 renaming happened with this car. It seems silly that history would have repeated itself so similarly...but to me, anyways, plausible.

Yeah, it would be odd for them to go through that whole thing again, especially with the same people involved.

It’s interesting that a lot of this stuff is popping up well after the ZL1 1LE was revealed.

What I don’t understand is the tape...why would that be needed if it is not hiding some sort of refresh or something new?

It's probably a left over ZL1 1LE prototype that they are using for further development. The tape was left on after they took off the velcro camo.

If you look at the one picture of the rear wheel area you can still see some of the tape camo they didn't get covered up with the black tape. Agreed, looks like a tired prototype with something(s) different that needs testing.
