I live in Minnesota, cold snow salt always cover my truck. I drive it hard, tow with it, load rock, brick, other building materials. I have never had to do anything to them other than routine maintenance. It also looks damn nice next to my Camaro.

To answer your question, that is a matter of personal opinion. I would say Silverados last longer.

I got a 97 blazer for winter. Which the salt is about to take the win against it. The frame is literally deteriorating. I couldn't drive a nice vehicle in the winter. It just ruins it.

If you can find one, a Honda Ridgeline. Call me biased, but I love my 2007... it has over 115K on it, runs like new... heated leather seats are sweet... it's a Honda, and since you know Honda's, they're bullet proof.

Subaru’s run forever. I had 260,000 on my Legacy wagon when I sold it to a neighbor and she drove it for another 3 years at least when I moved away.

yeah i can imagine the ridgelines last forever! i just wish they looked a little more like a truck.. not saying they are ugly no offense just saying they look like the chevy avalanche and i like the style of a classic pickup better

I just traded my 2010 Ram Laramie for a 2013 Ram Laramie Longhorn. I cannot live without a truck. It's my all year round daily driver though. I do drive the camaro to work sometimes in the summer but the truck is my mobile office.
