I use speedo only. Handy to gauge corner exit speeds without having to take my eyes off the track. Otherwise I still use std RMP gauge for shifting, as I find it easier to focus on vs the shift lights. I also use the speedo HUD for DD and find it very handy. No issues with clarify, albeit with sun glasses on I have to turn it up all the way.

I love it also but struggle with it. I’ve been trying to force myself to use it especially at the track but still find myself looking down at the gauges.

I mainly keep my HUD on the MPH and radio song title/preview. So far i used that the most overlooking songs playing on Sirius Radio while my WAZE is running on the 8" screen...

I use mine 100% of the time so I can have my wheel all the way out and down. I love to have the wheel as close to me as possible so I can relax my arms in a more natural position. So with the wheel there the top of it cuts off my line of sight to the gauges. I would be SOL if I didn't have the HUD. Probably have to learn to drive in a more uncomfortable position.

I use it all the time, although when I first got the car I didn't - reflexively I would look down at my gauges. Took about a month to get used to using the HUD routinely.

I only use the HUD for speed and rpms. When it's off or I am in another car it takes me a second to re teach myself to look at the gauges.

I absolutely love the HUD......daily driving i only use the gauge cluster for fuel level lol. I enjoy it so much I honestly can't understand why it isn't a standard feature on all cars

I rarely look at my gauge cluster anymore. Usually only for oil, water temps and fuel. Hate the fact that I cant see it with my polarized sunglasses but thats about my only gripe.

HUD and rev match are the most important features on the 1LE for me. For the street I only use speedo in the HUD (dimmed for dark generally) and at the track I use the race mode since it allows me to see the blip light and reference speed on certain corners while I keep my eyes on the road

One of those things that you don't miss until you have them, at which point they instantly become indispensable. Wish it had even more configurability, but it's already very useful to me as is, particularly the tach+speedo+speed limit view.
