Received my replacement VTC today. Going to install it this weekend. I give Vitesse Motorsports A+ service for honoring their warranty and sending me a replacement unit so quickly. Hoping I don't get any CELs with the new unit. Will keep everyone posted.

I am holding out a little longer hoping all bugs get worked out. Seems like an awesome mod but warranty is too short for me being my car is only used a day or two on weekends. I fear warranty will run out before an issue if any happened. I would jump on it for like a 3-5yr warranty. Just my thoughts

Mine got installed last month.
Few weeks after, check engine turns on then I have to reset and reprogram the VtC. After a week lost power and do reprogramming again. After a week, engine rev high almost had an accident and have to slam the breaks. Today, car won't start and check engine on. Next few days, I will call Vitesse and see what is the hell wrong with it. |

Mine is a DD. I've had the issue of the Cel and power loss about three times since I installed it, each episode months apart. Purchased mine September last year. It's been about 3 months since the last one. Oh and drive it on SP9, I've gotten used to the sensitivity. No regrets here.

I've had mine installed for almost a year now. I've only had one problem, stabilitrak came up. However, the dealership said it was the MAFSensor was contaminated ( Not sure how if I have a DRY air filter ) and the MAFSocket was broken (cracked, no O ring) *Technican said "I came over to help my other techs because they were having trouble removing the socket"* which... makes me think they broke it..but it's cool.. I didn't pay for ANYTHING.
It's my daily driver, and I put SP9 to mess around with it sometimes, I generally leave it at SP7, but recently since I don't race or haven't... I keep it at SP0 for now, it has little lag but still EXTREMELY more responsive than stock (without the controller). And of course at SP9 it is just rediculously explosive. Remember though, this controller is opening the TB and moving the RPM's faster, which means more wear on items(mechanical/Possibly Electrical). I've noticed also since I installed the Controller, my engine bay seems slightly hotter than before, but nothing extreme. Don't remember exactly but it was either 2nd or 3rd. It happened as I pulled from a light.

The VTC has some compatability issues with vehicles which are tuned. The unit gives the throttle an extra boost out of calibration to a specific tune and cause a CEL. On a non tuned car with only bolt ons CELs are pretty rare.

I got my first fault today. I was on original group buy. I cleared the code and reset my controller and hopefully tomorrow back to normal.

Mine is my DD as well and only had the cel-power loss three times in almost a year that I've had the VTC. Some people have a lot of problems, some little like me and some none at all. I also drag my car at the strip once every couple of months with no issues. The times I've had the cel-power loss has been at regular driving. You can always return it.
