I placed my order in July and my order is accepted but not queued for production. What is your status if you ordered post July?

My order from Hendricks Duluth was #30 on the list and went in on July 16, is being built this week! So says Chevrolet via chat as of this morning.

I just met with Dan houser' (my sales person), he confirmed start of shipping as of this week for new corvettes already produced. He also confirmed they have an allotment of cars for this week and next that buyers can order now.

yes my order was allocated on the July 5th consensus and it at 3400. Should be built this week

My dealer sold four corvettes last year. They have an allocation. There is an Oder before mine, if a small dealer has a small allocation, how long will it take to get car produced and shipped?

Doesn't madder how big or small the dealer is, it's how many allocations he get based on C6 sales.

for every allocation your dealer gets he can order 1 stingray, GM will tell them when they get each earned allocation they could be weeks apart or months. Once your order is placed against an allocation your production will proceeds like anyone else.

Bad news is if you are still at 1100 since July your dealer has no allocation for your order. Said to say all that 1100 means is that he deal put you in the computer but the order has not been accepted by GM again due to no allocation.

I ordered July 5 and I'm currently at 3300.. I'm sorry that you're going to have to wait a while before you get your car :-(

On July 12 order was Accepted by GM. (2000).

Also Order changed thru Web to remove Carbon Fiber Interior Package on July 12 (2051).

On July 17 Order Preferenced (2500).

On July 17 order Accepted by Production Control (3000).

August 8 Order Available to Sequence (3100).

Also on August 8 order Available to Sequence (3300).

August 15 Order Broadcast for Production (3400).

Vehicle Produced on September 5 (3800).

On September 6 Vehicle available to Ship (54000).

Today listed as Bayed (4D00).

If your dealer only sold four cars, he will not get more than four in the next several months most likely.

I would run away and find another dealer near you, or like me a dealer all the way across the country that I new was going to get a lot of cars!

In your area Jimmy Johnson's on Claremont Mesa, SD, or Bob Stall should have much bigger allotments.

I went to Rick Hendricks in Duluth, GA. they have open slots for coupes and verts this week, your order would go right in. Your car would probably deliver in November. Mine is being built 7 weeks from my order! Your car can still be delivered through your dealer if you like, Hendricks is selling cars as far away as Hawaii, shipment to your dealer can be arranged at time of purchase and will not cost more.
