Right.

My wife and I went looking at Mercedes at a Mercedes dealership last week and when we expressed some interest in one of them, they talked us into taking it home for the weekend - no obligation. They also prepared us a tray of cookies, since we had liked the cookie they had in their customer waiting area (extensive drinks and snacks galore) and they took us to the parts department and let us pick out a free gift (my wife picked a laser light pen).

On Monday morning, we dropped off the car and they said, "How did you like it?" I said it drove great and was fun (was turbo, so it was fun) and they said, "Great, let us know if we can help you on your next car." We shook his hand and left.

Similar experience in most dealerships we have shopped (though that was one of the best experiences overall). I think sometimes there are two sides to a story... and I notice the account of the original poster here has been SUSPENDED. Hmmm

"So I storm off calling her a lesbian and telling everyone she will burn in hell." <--- yes, there is far more to the beginning part of the original story, LOL

Well, for everyone of his funny or peculiar posts and threads, he had a rude or obnoxious one as well. The mods were after him and it came to a head yesterday in a fuse pull thread started by a female. He blatantly insulted her looks in her avatar pic and got flamed for it. Within about an hour all the disparaging posts were gone and so was he. I have a feeling he'll be back though. Hopefully he can keep it on the lighter side.

That's why I'm saying, I imagine there was far more to the original story here than just a dealership throwing him out. I imagine, in typical form, he was probably insulting the sales woman long before she requested the deposit to run a credit check. They were likely hoping the $500 request would get him to just leave. LOL

OP generally was insulting and rude. My guess is he went into the dealer at 400% attitude and got nailed for it. He probably did insult the sales person and got himself thrown out.

Consider yourself warned.
I drove a Jetta before I got my Camaro. Lol

Strange. This member here is rude and obnoxious when dealing with the dealership, so somehow the dealership cannot be rude or obnoxious on their own?

Folks, a rude customer is no excuse. It's called 'professionalism'. They don't get a pass.

I'd be willing to bet it was a combination of a crappy dealer and OP's general attitude towards everyone.

Not a good way to do business and quite frankly not a good way to exit a business. If you indeed said what you claimed to say.

Generally no, there is no excuse for a business to be rude. In reading just this one sentence from the OP, though, I'd say there's probably a whole lot more to it and the dealer probably had every right to be rude. That said, I don't read anywhere the the dealer was rude, only that they asked him to leave.

"So I storm off calling her a lesbian and telling everyone she will burn in hell."

Yeah, I'd ask him to leave as well and he'd be glad he did because after that, I would not be asking but indeed he would be leaving.
